Born in Brittany, Hélène Lafaix has been drawing since she was very young. After having passed a scientific baccalaureate, she graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rennes and the Académie Charpentier in Paris, section "visual communication" where she was noticed.
She started very quickly in graphic design and became a free-lance artistic director (Guy Degrenne, Center Parcs, Nature & Découvertes junior catalog, etc.). But she misses the drawing and decides to go into the rough. She met Agence Virginie in 1998 and joined the team ... where she is always, available and loyal! At the same time, Hélène has been working for almost 20 years for publishing and the press as an illustrator.
She likes a job well done and fair. Simple, discreet, creative and absolutely not painful it is naturally that the one-line came to her, as obvious; the work of a single line reconciling graphics, drawing, apparent simplicity with elegance and character. The single-line as the logical expression of his vectorial work on a graphic tablet!
